At Higganum Hydroponics & Garden, we’re committed to fast, reliable, and affordable shipping so you get the grow supplies you need—right when you need them. Below is our full shipping policy, including processing times, carrier details, free-shipping rules, and oversized-item guidelines.


Processing Times

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Orders placed after 2 PM EST are processed the next business day.

  • You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order ships.


Shipping Rates

We offer transparent, competitive shipping rates based on order weight, size, and destination.

Standard Shipping (3–7 business days)

Rates calculated at checkout based on carrier cost.

Expedited Shipping (2–3 business days)

Available for most items.

Local Delivery (if applicable)

Local customers may qualify for discounted or same-day delivery. Eligible locations and costs are shown at checkout.


Free Shipping Policy

We offer free shipping on qualifying orders that meet the minimum spend requirement shown at checkout.

Free shipping exclusions may apply on:

  • Heavy/bulky items (soil, coco, perlite, large bags of amendments)

  • Oversized items (grow tents, trays, large reservoirs)

  • Liquids over 1 gallon or multi-gallon cases

  • Items requiring freight shipping

If an item is excluded from free shipping, this will be clearly noted on its product page.


Oversized & Heavy Items

Some hydroponic and garden products require special handling due to weight or dimensions.
Examples include:

  • 50L bags of media

  • 4×4 and larger grow tents

  • 20–55 gallon reservoirs

  • Full lighting kits

These items may:

  • Ship separately

  • Require freight delivery

  • Include an additional surcharge

We will contact you if your order requires freight coordination.


Shipping Carriers

We primarily ship through:

  • UPS

  • USPS

  • FedEx

  • Freight carriers for oversized shipments

Carrier selection depends on fastest/most cost-effective delivery at the time of shipping.


Amazon Price Match Shipments

Orders placed under our Amazon Price Match Guarantee follow the same shipping timelines as regular orders.

Please note:

  • Amazon Prime shipping speeds do not apply.

  • Shipping speed is based on our carriers and processing times.


Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Missing apartment/suite number

  • Undeliverable location

…additional reshipping fees may apply.


Lost, Damaged, or Missing Packages

If your order arrives damaged or is missing items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number:

We will assist with replacement, claim filing, or resolving the issue.

Lost packages are investigated with the carrier. Replacement items may be issued once the claim is verified.


Order Tracking

Tracking numbers are sent automatically by email once your order ships. If you didn’t receive tracking, check your spam folder or contact our support team.


International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within the United States.
International shipping may be added in the future.
